ABOUT ME
Krissy Michaela Media is the portfolio of a video editor who has been passionate about creating videos since a young age... I always had a camera by my side - starting with a compact camera and progressing to camcorders, DSLRs, and now mirrorless cameras. I began creating YouTube videos at age 12 and have continued to pursue my passion for video editing and storytelling ever since. My hope is that my dedication to my craft is evident in every project I undertake!

Fun Facts...
When not behind the camera I enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, archery, and gardening on my small hobby farm with my husband and 2 young children. We also love to play with our dogs, goats, and chickens. My love for the outdoors and family life inspires my work and adds a personal touch to every project!
My Experience
Beginning as a young video editor, I have always been very passionate about pouring my authentic self into my work. My passion motivates me to create an impactful connection to my viewers, during a unique visual experience. Through my many projects, I have collaborated with multiple talented individuals, who each offered me insight on their personal experiences. I apply this knowledge to my own work as I continue to grow in this ever-changing industry.

New Balance Dayton
From the onset, there were very high expectations surrounding this project. The client had a specific vision, and big goals, which was tough for our small production team (of 2)! I really had to put myself in this client's mindset to create a spot that set the right mood. It took a lot of trial and error. By the end I was able to shoot and edit a great commercial. Despite the initial challenge, it turned out being one of my favorite spots to date!

Experimenting in AE
At one point or another, we all have a little free time. That is where I like to focus on continued learning. I am currently most interested in innovative animation techniques and clever use of visual effects.

Leatherworking Man
This project was one of my favorite to shoot. The idea came to me after watching a lot of trendy "whip-pan" videos. This spot was created, from pre-production to post-production, single-handedly by myself! This style of commercial was something new for me and I am very proud of how it turned out.

FlyBoys Deli
Don't watch these spots with an empty stomach! Many know that food industry spots use all kinds of tactics to make dinner plates look extra appetizing. The food here is DELICIOUS, and without ANY tricks, it looks it on camera too! For this project I wrote up a couple scripts, went in and shot a whole bunch of B-Roll at the restaurant, then placed it together like a puzzle with all the assets I captured.
